Description OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Global Category Lead to drive one of our key strategic global portfolios in one of our European Head Offices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of categories by influencing, collaborating, and coordinating a cross-functional team and senior stakeholder management.
Scope of the Role- Develop and execute a clear growth roadmap for the category, defining key levers of acceleration and setting category growth objectives.
- Define, plan, execute, and evaluate the success of the innovation pipeline, including concept development, research and development, go-to-market strategy, and success models.
- Drive best-in-class activation and execution toolkits, leveraging consumer insights and touchpoints in partnership with top-tier countries.
- Partner with top-tier countries across Europe to drive growth and develop a top-notch team to grow talent within the organization.
- Take ownership of the P&L, including country tracking and A&P management, and drive optimisations and anticipate risks.
- Anticipate consumer trends, competition, and new regulations and integrate them into our growth strategy roadmap.
- Report, track, learn, and suggest improvements by analysing the impact on sales of marketing actions.
- Leadership skills with a proven record as a strategic thinker and executor.
- Team development and performance management skills.
- Stakeholder management skills to influence peers, leadership, executives, and local teams.
- A proven track record in generating growth through creative thinking, NPD management, and 4Ps excellence.
- A strong drive for results, can-do attitude, and performance tracking.
- Analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience analysing market data and financials.
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare, OTC, or FMCG.
