The Role

We are seeking an experienced EHV Estimator to drive our growth in the renewable market. You will be responsible for tendering for new business across the UK, building long-term relationships with customers, and overseeing the quotation and tendering process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare tenders from 33kV to 132kV voltage.
  • Provide quotations and tenders for new connection works and turnkey projects.
  • Manage key accounts for new and existing customers.
  • Develop partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers for turnkey solutions.
  • Review and follow up quotations, providing feedback to the tendering and sales team.
  • Attend site surveys and tender interviews as necessary.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of:

  • Establishing key aspects associated with client requirements.
  • Providing quotations and liaising with internal departments.
  • Evaluating supplier and subcontract returns.
  • Drafting commentary regarding exclusions and clarifications.
  • Using business systems to follow company processes.
  • Assisting with the creation and management of processes.

Qualifications and Experience

You will already have experience and qualifications in:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Qualification in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A-level equivalent in literacy, numeracy, and technology.
  • Strong market knowledge and experience within the electrical distribution sector.
  • Experience working on large renewable projects and off-site routes.
  • Proven experience in the successful tendering of large-scale projects.
  • Experience of establishing strategic and operational partnerships.
