Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners; ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Wash windows, walls, and fixtures as needed.
  • Ensure all doors and windows are locked and secure after hours.
  • Identify and report maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
  • Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests or situations.
  • Maintain school grounds, including sweeping sidewalks, removing debris, and ensuring safe walkways.
  • Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf raking, and lawn care.
