Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at QiStaff Solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic sourcing activities for designated spend categories within the company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual plans for designated categories of spend to achieve departmental cost reduction goals and year-on-year improvement.
  • Manage and optimise our clients' spend with external suppliers, generating added procurement value through savings and cost avoidance.
  • Drive category negotiation strategies and negotiate with suppliers to achieve stated goals and objectives.
  • Remain current with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market experts.

Person Specification

For this role, we are looking for an individual with a graduate or equivalent qualification and a proven track record of buying. You should have strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and negotiation skills. Additionally, you should be comfortable with constructing presentations, organisational communications, and business cases. CIPS qualification is desirable.
