About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker to join our team at Thera Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to individuals with a learning disability, empowering them to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide personal and emotional support to individuals with a learning disability
* Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
* Support individuals to develop new skills and interests
* Help individuals to plan and manage their own home and daily routines

Requirements

* No previous experience or qualifications required, Free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided
* Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-starter, with a high level of motivation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, articulate, and professional
* Keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems
