Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this role is £24,000 - £27,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Telephone Assessments
  • Conduct thorough telephone assessments to establish the current reason for ill health/injury and identify any underlying cause or contributory factors.
Support Multidisciplinary Assessment Process
  • Provide accurate information to assess personal and occupational risk factors during multidisciplinary assessment process.
Advise Members on Treatment Options
  • Advise members on the reason(s) and multifactorial issues associated with their current episode of ill health/injury and how they can take control of mitigating these.
Follow Clinical Guidelines
  • Follow managed care pathways, NICE, and other evidence-based clinical guidelines when making onward referrals for consultations, investigations, and treatment.
Treatment Provider Sourcing
  • Source appropriate treatment providers, in line with the rules and benefits of their health insurance plan.
Collaboration with Functional Health Team
  • Work seamlessly with our onsite Functional Health team to manage referrals and provide a three-dimensional service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient IT Skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages and confident using IT systems in general.
  • Experience in Insurance or Claims Environment
    • Experience working in an insurance or claims environment (healthcare strongly preferred).
  • Clinical Qualification
    • Clinical qualification such as Sports Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Counselling.
