Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Hero Recruitment Limited. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a residential care home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care and support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with their medication, meal times, and other daily routines.
- Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months' recent experience in a similar care role within a residential care home for the elderly.
- Knowledge of the needs and rights of older people and an understanding of good care principles.
- NVQ in Care, or willingness to undertake the Care Certificate.
- Ability to work day and night shifts on a rota basis, with a minimum of 12 hours per shift.
