Job OverviewAston Charles is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join its Corporate Unit, dealing with complex insurance programs for Scotland's largest and most prestigious companies.
As part of the team, you will support Account Executives and Directors in managing a varied portfolio of clients, developing innovative solutions to mitigate risks and exposure.
You will be responsible for answering general enquiries, preparing renewals, and dealing with mid-term amendments, while working closely with clients to understand their businesses and risk profiles.

Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, developing relationships and understanding their business needs
- Support Account Executives and Directors in preparing renewals and dealing with mid-term amendments
- Develop innovative solutions to mitigate risks and exposure for clients
- Work closely with clients to understand their risk profiles and develop tailored insurance solutions
- Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives and drive growth
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in commercial insurance, preferably in a corporate or account handling role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex insurance challenges
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and interpret complex data and risk profiles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
