About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Consultant to join our team at the Royal Oldham Hospital. As a Consultant in General and Specialist Medicine, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, diagnosis, management, and treatment for patients with a broad spectrum of medical needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to medical, nursing, and other healthcare professionals
  • Act as an expert resource for medical professionals across the Trust footprint
  • Develop and implement high-quality care services through the provision of specialist knowledge and expertise
  • Participate in regular medical audit and use outcomes to improve patient care
  • Supervise junior doctor trainees and provide clinical and educational support
  • Provide advice and leadership to the clinical team on patient care, education, and well-being
  • Act on concerns and complaints reported by service users relating to medical care
