Job Title: Senior Environmental Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our Nuclear Division team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality environmental permitting and assessments services to our clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental permitting and assessments, with experience working on nuclear projects. You will be responsible for managing and delivering nuclear safety packages of work, building and developing excellent client relationships, and delivering high-quality technical and strategic support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver nuclear safety packages of work, including overseeing and supporting our delivery teams.
  • Build and develop excellent client relationships, including continuing to build and develop strong relationships with our existing clients.
  • Deliver high-quality technical and strategic support to our clients, including providing bespoke permitting advice to ensure compliance requirements are identified and considered at an early stage.
  • Support the continued development of our business, including through identifying, bidding for, and winning new work, either with new or existing clients.
  • Mentor and develop our graduates and other junior staff.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental permitting and assessments, with experience working on nuclear projects. You will have a good understanding of the UK regulatory and policy landscape for the permissioning of nuclear projects, including recent developments in policy and strategy. You will also have experience working with UK Site License Companies and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (including its subsidiaries).
