Key Responsibilities

In this Nuclear Safety Inspector role, you will be responsible for conducting environmental monitoring tasks, including air sampling and counting. You will also support waste monitoring, assay processes, and production activities through accurate data collection. Additionally, you will provide frontline radiation protection advice during operations and manage radioactive sources.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of safety standards and regulations, as well as experience in maintaining accurate records. They will also be able to communicate complex information effectively to colleagues and stakeholders.

Estimated salary: £41,000 + 15% shift allowance. Benefits include 13% pension, 26 days + Bank Holidays (increasing with tenure), and a company bonus. The location is in the Whitehaven area, offering a great work-life balance and a competitive benefits package.
