Clinical Specialist in Communication and Developmental Trauma

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist in Communication and Developmental Trauma to join our team at The Tower School, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to work collaboratively with our clinical colleagues, delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the integration of the specialist service into the day-to-day running of each provision, including standardized assessments and clinical services. A key aspect of the role will be to deliver the wellbeing and clinical rainbow strategy at a universal, enhanced, and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our young people's needs in line with set Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
Essential Criteria- Recognized Speech & Language Therapy degree
- Valid and up-to-date HCPC Registration
- Registered member of RCSLT
- Previous experience of paid or voluntary work within a trauma or complex needs setting
- Experience within the specialist client group, specifically working with children and adolescents with autism, language disorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties, and associated challenging behavior
- Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-professional team
We offer a competitive salary range of £53,200 per annum, plus a £3,000 welcome bonus and a relocation package of £3,000. In addition, you will receive a £2,000 training allowance to support your continued professional development.
