Job Title: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

  • Deliver high-quality parts from suppliers, driving quality improvements and supporting complex supplier quality issues.
  • Conduct approval processes, Meisterbock processes, and problem management with the supply base.
  • Achieve quality targets on pre-series and series vehicles, driving actions and identifying risks.
  • Drive supplier improvement initiatives, monitor supplier performance measures, and support the supplier nomination process.
  • Deputise for the Supplier Quality Manager when required, providing support in key deliverables and operational activities.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience and knowledge of engineering across multiple commodities or as a specialist in one commodity.
  • Automotive supplier quality management experience, either at a supplier or OEM, deemed an expert.
  • Demonstrable track record of managing systems and processes to mature parts and resolve technical problems.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally at board level.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others, including senior management and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of quality techniques and tools such as statistical process control, process capability, and APQP.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or HNC/HND with extensive relevant experience.
