Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Test Development Specialist to join our Norwich Engineering Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing measurement processes for automated systems and working with colleagues to identify resources needed to execute calibration plans.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test strategies to ensure complete and robust test coverage across various products.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to review system requirements and develop effective test procedures.
  • Contribute to the entire hardware/software development life cycle from initial business requirements to deployment, production, and service support.
  • Work closely with the team to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive execution of ideas to enhance product development procedures and processes.
Requirements
  • BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the test and measurement field utilizing T&M instrumentation including calibration techniques.
  • Sound understanding of measurement uncertainty analysis and formal processes required to support accreditation (ISO 17025).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with geographically dispersed teams and work independently.
