Role Description

Our Intern & Placement programme offers a hands-on insight into our work, allowing you to develop skills and knowledge within your chosen field. Supported by signposted training, this programme is based on our core values, providing both technical training and support for personal and professional growth. You'll be exposed to real projects and clients, gaining a range of experiences over the course of your internship or placement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Transport Planner at Arcadis, you'll focus on planning, improving, managing, and designing transport systems at local, regional, and national levels. You'll assist in delivering project-related tasks and learn new technical skills centered around innovation, sustainability, and digital solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • a degree in Transport Planning, Transport Planning & Engineering, Transport & the Environment, Geography, Urban Planning, Maths, Economics, or related fields
  • demonstrate typical Arcadian skills such as Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and Teamwork
  • excellent communication skills to influence and consult stakeholders effectively
  • the ability to travel and stay away from home when required (we offer virtual working options where possible)
Estimated Salary

Ranging from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
