Principal Civil Engineer

Location: Various UK locations

Salary: £55-70k

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for leading projects and teams with a focus on quality, sustainability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget management.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for project management, resource planning, and estimation.
  3. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and colleagues to deliver high-quality results.
  4. Contribute to business development and growth, identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in RC design and detailing, including water retaining structures, soil retaining structures, and foundation design.
  • Knowledge of computational analysis techniques and software, including BIM.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
