Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children's Support Worker to join our team in Ipswich. The successful candidate will work in an 11-bed home providing support to children and young people aged 12-18 with learning disabilities and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and physical support to children and young people with learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks and promote independence.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities in the UK.
  • DBS check and relevant training certificates.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
