Sales Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Assistant to join our team at Reed. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our sales team in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers and suppliers, maintaining a professional and helpful manner.
  • Order Management: Handle daily tasks such as placing orders, drafting quotes, responding to customer queries, and managing stock levels.
  • Team Support: Provide support to the sales team, CAD Detailers, accounts team, Project Manager, and directors.
  • Marketing and Advertising: Contribute to the company's marketing and advertising efforts.
  • Communication: Ensure smooth communication with customers regarding order status and collection details.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Construction Materials Experience: Experience in working with Construction Materials.
  • Liaising Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.
  • Order Handling: Experience in handling orders, quotations, and stock control.
  • Team Player: A team player with a flexible approach to work.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
