Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of all residents.
  • Implement effective strategies for managing challenging behaviors while maintaining a calm and supportive demeanor.
  • Engage with residents in meaningful activities, encouraging their participation in hobbies and recreational pursuits.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance, helping residents navigate personal challenges and build resilience.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and progress.

Essential Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 3 months of verifiable experience working within a residential childcare setting
  • Valid mandatory training certificates relevant to the support of young people (e.g., Safeguarding Vulnerable Children)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 3 months or registered on the update service with checks against 'DBS Children's Barred List information'
