Vacancy for Head of Digital Library

We are seeking a highly experienced information professional to lead our Digital Library Team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the digital services and projects delivered by our team, working closely with our directorate Senior Management Team and other areas of Information Services Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate professional staff to deliver innovative solutions and services
  • Develop and implement digital strategy and planning
  • Collaborate with other areas of the University and partners outside the University
  • Provide technical leadership for Library & University Collections

Requirements

  • Honours degree in an appropriate discipline
  • Recognised professional qualification or registration in a relevant branch of librarianship, information management or equivalent area
  • Experience in leading, developing and motivating professional staff
  • Demonstrable experience of creating innovative solutions and services
