Pub Reconciliation Assistant 12m FTC Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pub Reconciliation Assistant to join our team at Stonegate Group. In this 12-month fixed-term contract, you will play a vital role in managing the reconciliation of pub finances, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations.
As a Pub Reconciliation Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to process weekly operator fees via BACS, investigate petty cash exceptions, and work with our pub teams to resolve any discrepancies. You will also be responsible for creating and distributing weekly reports to highlight any issues, trends, or risks identified.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a high level of numeracy and attention to detail. You will also need to be able to interpret data, escalate anomalies, and continually challenge ways of working to improve efficiency.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be a team player with a calm and professional manner, able to work collaboratively with our pub teams and other departments. You will also need to be proactive, self-motivated, and have a 'can-do' attitude.
If you have a basic understanding of finance and proven Excel skills, we would love to hear from you. Experience of working in a team environment, processing to a high accuracy to tight deadlines, and using Microsoft Office is also highly desirable.
