Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to join our team in Ellon. The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to all rules, regulations, and policies to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in our warehouse operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Adhere to all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in warehouse operations.
- Comply with and drive adherence to all QHSE & PPE policies without exception.
- Maintain plant hygiene and cleanliness, adhering to cleaning plans and schedules.
- Execute tasks, including operating equipment, in a consistent, safe, and efficient manner, according to established standards and SOPs.
- Work collaboratively as a team player, being flexible and supportive of colleagues.
- Ensure site Health & Safety standards are met, demonstrating a proactive attitude towards creating a safe working environment.
- Maintain overall hygiene standards, cleaning and maintaining the site, and encouraging high standards of housekeeping.
- Complete accurate conversions and changeovers to BrewDog standards.
- Provide constant involvement in process development and improvement, following instructions and carrying out necessary tasks as instructed to meet Supply Chain targets.
- Assist with any reasonable management request to facilitate the safe delivery of goods.
- Review processes and suggest improvements as part of the Supply Chain continuous improvement ethos.
- Build strong working relationships with other BrewDog crew members.
- Packing, palletising, and wrapping goods for shipment according to internal procedures.
- Carry out instructed tasks from supervisors and manager.
- Communicate effectively with others and help other members of the team with their tasks if needed.
- Take a proactive approach to individual learning and development to generate a greater understanding of areas that require improvement/development.
- Provide support to other members of the Warehouse Operations and wider Production team where required/requested.
- Plan the time to develop and personally improve both in the completion of day-to-day tasks and to create opportunities for advancement.
- Be open-minded to try new methods suggested or technologies to support the priorities of the team.
- Careful with resource and challenge others where you see wastage.
- Receive feedback and act constructively to make changes as appropriate.
- Seek help when needed and actively get to know other team members; looking to understand their roles and perspectives to better contribute to the success of the whole team.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who can join our team in Ellon. The ideal candidate will have:
- Read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Forklift Truck Licence (B1 Counterbalance) and Reach Truck experience desirable.
- A good level of numeracy skill is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic experience of IT systems, including the use of WMS systems, preferred.
- A level of fitness will be required for manual lifting tasks.
- Foundation level of process trouble shooting.
