Key Responsibilities
  • Manage access control for buildings and car parks, ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises, grounds, and car parks to deter and detect potential security threats.
  • Respond to customer requests and queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify and challenge ID passes, ensuring only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
  • Activate and deactivate alarms as necessary.
  • Unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Identify and report Health & Safety issues, providing first aid if necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, using both computer-based and paper-based systems.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience as a Corporate Security Officer, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong customer service, team working, and collaboration skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise verbal and written reports, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competent IT and administration skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a willingness to undertake development training.
  • SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license, with a minimum of five years\u2019 checkable history and references.
  • Ability to pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards.
