About the Role

The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy clinical ward team, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality specialist service to our patients and the multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to wards, working closely with other members of the pharmacy team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Develop and implement pharmaceutical services, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to drive excellence in patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of leadership and mentoring skills, with opportunities to line manage pharmacists and lead projects.
  • Participate in extended rotations across various specialties, including Gastro/Renal, ICU/Nutrition, Admissions, Pediatrics, Surgery, Care of Elderly, Education, and Training.

Requirements

  • Current registered Member of GPhC
  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy, with extensive multidisciplinary teamwork and patient contact
  • Desirable: Member of UKCPA, Diploma in clinical pharmacy or General Pharmacy Practice, audit experience, and experience of pharmacy computer technology
