Job Title: Roof Truss Team Leader

Alexanders Timber Design, a leading Timber Frame and Roof Truss manufacturer, is part of Glennon Brothers, a prominent timber processor in the UK & Ireland.

We are a growing business with ambitious growth plans, and our state-of-the-art facility in Irvine is equipped with cutting-edge technology.

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Shift Supervisor and be responsible for leading a team of experienced roof truss setters.

Our production facility features high levels of automation, including well-equipped 3 Axis CNC saws, and operates on a 3-shift pattern (DS 7am-3:15pm, BS 3pm-11:15pm, and NS 11pm-7:15am).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in Roof Truss manufacturing and a Timber environment
  • Managing staff to ensure productivity meets delivery program requirements
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain high-quality workmanship
  • Interpreting technical drawings and adapting to shift patterns
  • Previous roof truss experience is essential, and trainee applicants may be considered with relevant aptitude and experience
