Job Title: Locum Consultant – Care of the Elderly

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Care of the Elderly to join our team at the Hospital in North Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful contribution to the Geriatrics Department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to elderly patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to elderly patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in educational programs and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Geriatric Medicine.
  • Be a member of the relevant Royal College for Physicians.
  • Have full GMC registration or be eligible.
