We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Medicine Specialist to join our team at GLG Vets in Shepshed.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate veterinary professional to provide exceptional care to a variety of animals.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality medical treatment and care to patients with a focus on precision, attention to detail, and empathy.
- Conduct routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, ensuring seamless communication among the healthcare team.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure a smooth clinic operation.
- Assume ownership of the clinic's daily operations during shifts, driving efficiency and productivity while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
- Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent), demonstrating a strong foundation in veterinary medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and patients.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.
- Pursuit of continuous professional development, fostering growth and expertise within the field.
- A competitive salary package of £60,000 - £75,000 per year, reflecting the importance of your role in delivering exceptional patient care.
