This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior or Principal Consultant: Industrial Decarbonisation Policy Consultant, working at the forefront of shaping industrial decarbonisation policies.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Support governments in developing policy options and businesses in complying with and responding to them.
  2. Project management, technical delivery, and business development activities, including competitive bidding, client and partner relationship management, and participation in promotional events.
  3. Technical leadership and supporting the development of more junior staff within the practice.

As a key member of our team, you will work on a wide range of projects covering policy option development, technical analysis, design, impact assessment, evaluation, and capacity-building activities such as workshop delivery and guidance production.

About the Role
  • Strong commercial awareness and enthusiasm for growing the business in your technical area.
  • A track record of managing complex projects, excellent written and spoken English, and fluency in other European languages.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to lead large complex projects, and experience working within multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of UK industrial decarbonisation roadmaps, EU Emissions Trading System (ETS), Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanisms (CBAMs), Climate Change Agreements (CCAs) and MRV of industrial greenhouse gas emissions.

What We Offer
  • An estimated salary of £65,000 - £90,000 per annum.
