About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for planning, performing, and completing audits for various assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular discussions and updates.
  • Identify and highlight opportunities for improvement and growth within the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Assess and evaluate the performance of audit teams.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with audit and assignment procedures.
  • Prepare and review draft accounts and reports, highlighting areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in UK audit and accounts, preferably within a professional services firm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate work effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Local market experience is a plus.
