Job Title: Head of Healthcare

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced healthcare professional to lead our healthcare team as the Head of Healthcare for a prison in the Greater Manchester area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality evidence-based practice clinical and operational healthcare, leading by example and supporting the team to deliver high-quality services to patients.

The Head of Healthcare will be accountable for the delivery of the contract and monitor performance and delivery against KPIs, working in partnership with all key stakeholders, Directors, Deputy Directors, and other Heads of Healthcare.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, with experience at a senior level in a complex environment with multiple health professions. They will also have knowledge of the effective application of the Health & Social Care Act 2014 and relevant legislation, as well as experience of leading teams in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the healthcare team to deliver high-quality services to patients
