About the Role

MCL Medics is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our expanding team. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients to achieve their statutory duties to protect and promote the health, safety, and welfare of people at work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify health risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Report on health risks and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Perform routine health surveillance and pre-placement screenings to ensure the health and wellbeing of employees.
  • Undertake fitness-for-work assessments and provide expert advice on workplace health and safety.
  • Manage health records and ensure safe storage, security, and confidentiality of OH records.
Requirements
  • RGN/RMN with prior Occupational Health Advisor experience.
  • Current NMC Registration.
  • Desirable: Occupational Health qualification; relevant experience considered.
  • Proactive, friendly, and professional individual with workload management confidence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements in order to achieve more effective working practices.
