About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance PMO Business Analyst to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Group Functions division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement of financials across the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Definition and Control: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine financial processes and controls, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Financial Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and provide insights to stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Financial Position Management: Manage the financial position of portfolios, highlighting potential issues and ensuring cost-efficient delivery of projects and programs.
  • Financial Reporting: Produce monthly financial reporting packs, reviewing and analyzing data with stakeholders to inform business decisions.
  • Annual Budgeting and Reforecasting: Support the annual budgeting process, coordinating funding approvals and ensuring accurate financial forecasting.
  • Resource Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate resource allocation, cost management, and efficient use of resources.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement across functions.
Requirements
  • Finance PMO Experience: Previous experience working in a Finance PMO role is essential.
  • Power BI Experience: Power BI experience is highly desirable.
  • Relationship Building: Proven track record of building effective relationships with stakeholders to execute analysis tasks and delivery plans.
  • Leadership Interaction: Comfortable interacting with senior leadership, addressing concerns, and providing financial insights.
  • Financial Framework Development: Experience in developing or refining financial frameworks, controls, and process documentation.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, formula application, and strong reporting and formatting skills.
  • Training and Development: Experience in training processes to finance and non-finance backgrounds.
