Finance Business Partner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Opus People Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will provide financial support to the Senior Finance Business Partner and assist with the preparation of annual revenue estimates, monitoring of income and expenditure, and annual closedown of accounts for Redditch Borough Council and Bromsgrove District Council.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Finance Business Partner with financial planning and analysis
  • Monitor income and expenditure, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly income and expenditure monitoring reports for the Corporate Management Team and Members
  • Participate in the activities associated with the closedown of the Council accounts and assist in the preparation of draft final accounts
  • Provide financial advice to Heads of Service and Directors on the Financial Service systems

This is a temporary opportunity, lasting 6 months, and will provide a unique chance to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in financial management.
