Job Title: Recovery Coordinator



We are seeking a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to join our team in Manchester. This role is crucial in engaging and assessing our service users, ensuring they receive timely and personalized interventions that cater to their unique needs.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide support to service users from the point of entry into the service throughout their treatment journey.
  • Conduct screening, assessment, and develop recovery plans with onward referrals.
  • Minimise harm related to drug and alcohol use for both the individual and the wider community.
  • Advocate access to partnership services.
  • Collaborate with each individual to facilitate social (re)integration, empowering them to lead meaningful lives, emphasizing recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.


About You:




  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of substance misuse issues and have experience in this or a related field.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proficient IT skills.
  • Take a proactive approach, working well independently with strong time management and ability to prioritise work.
  • Hold a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
  • Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Successfully manage change while prioritising the needs of those who use our service.
  • Actively seek learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills, contributing to the learning and development of others.
