Gas Field Maintenance Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Gas Field Service Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our UK-based team, you'll be responsible for the maintenance of our Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at client sites. Your tasks will include servicing, planned preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting customer issues. You'll work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the annual servicing of facilities, including condition-based servicing and planned preventative maintenance, and submit detailed reports of the job
  • Test and certify Grid Entry Units to ensure they're safe and working well, providing hands-on training and knowledge to new users and operators
  • Investigate issues to identify faults and system malfunctions, and perform any necessary replacements or repairs
  • Engage with clients to understand their issues, make observations, and suggest possible improvements and recommendations
  • Provide remote support to clients as part of an on-call rota, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
  • Previous experience in industrial servicing or controls systems
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Gas industry experience or relevant qualifications, such as HND or HNC, particularly in the Biogas/Biomethane industries
  • A good team player with a willingness to learn and develop your skills
