Job Description:

  1. Data Technology Leadership: As a Data Technology leader, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and expertise in data technologies and applications to drive business growth and innovation.
  2. Thought Leadership: Demonstrate thought leadership by developing and implementing holistic data and AI solutions that meet the needs of our enterprise clients.
  3. Data Landscape Assessment: Perform comprehensive data landscape assessments to identify opportunities for modernization, migration, and integration of applications on hyperscalers using best practices and approaches.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, understand client expectations, and provide clarity through workshops and solution development.
  5. Subject Matter Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise and technical vision to resolve business issues and priorities, and design enterprise data platforms on cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) including services like ETL pipelines, data modeling, visualization, data governance, RDM/MDM, etc.
  6. Troubleshooting: Expertly troubleshoot and manage escalations or SOS situations in delivery or data-related proposals.
  7. Offering Development: Contribute to building offerings, solutions, and automation accelerators, and nurture next-generation data talent.
  8. Business Development: Liaise with vertical/account teams to pursue new data-related opportunities and grow existing engagements.

Essential Skills:

  1. Technical and Business Acumen: Possess a balanced mix of technical and business skills, working closely with an enterprise architecture team for strategic direction.
  2. Domain Standards: Develop and drive domain/application standards and best practices that align with enterprise direction.
  3. Proven Experience: Proven work experience as a Data Solution Architect or similar role in building data architecture, data models, pipelines using AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, QuickSight, etc.) or similar native Azure or GCP services.
  4. Technical Expertise: Strong experience on Snowflake or DataBricks (including PySpark) along with tools like DBT or Snaplogic or Informatica Stack.
  5. Industry Trends: Proactively seek to understand major industry trends and apply them to solutions, new initiatives, and capability roadmaps.
  6. Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to project teams and work closely with other architects to ensure that project architectures follow established architecture standards and guidelines.
  7. Communication Skills: Possess good communication and presentation skills, and the ability to understand business priorities and how technology can support these initiatives.
  8. Agile Development: Understanding of Agile-based development and execution approaches.
  9. Data Consumption Design: Well-versed with data consumption design patterns like semantic layers, visualizations, ML models, etc.
