Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Omnicom, Southwark

Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. As an integral member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the effective inspection, operation, and maintenance of all associated MEP assets within our critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, building fabric, and associated MEP assets.
  • Liaise with the supply chain to order M&E components for remedial/corrective works.
  • Proactively attend nominated training courses to enhance technical engineering capabilities.
  • Complete all responsibilities in line with the site-based MEP responsibilities matrix.
  • Respond to critical alarms and escalate issues when on duty.
  • Participate in the site ONWH escalation and support of the 24/7 operation.
  • Evaluate and escalate potential risks, with an assessment of impact, probable causes, and mitigation opportunities.
  • Complete Reactive, Planned, and Corrective Work Orders in line with SFG20/NGM and ensure reliability of assets through excellent standards of maintenance delivery.
  • Acknowledge and complete Corrigo Work Orders within SLA.

Personal Specification:

  • Relevant experience in critical environments, such as corporate banking, data centers, or similar.
  • C&G/NVQ in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds.
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation.
  • C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing, and.
  • IPAF (Combined) (Desirable).
  • L8 Awareness Training (Desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff/management/customers.
  • Enthusiasm and proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Good IT and report writing skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm, clear thinking, and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to attend on and off-site training, which may require nights away from home due to the nature of the specialist training.
  • A high level of initiative, with drive to continuously improve the operation.
  • A smart, presentable professional appearance, integrity, honesty, and punctuality are expected.
  • Ability to comprehend and act upon both verbal and written instructions.
  • Reliable team player, who works effectively to achieve common goals.
