Job Title: Production Packing Operative

Major Recruitment Norwich is seeking a Production Packing Operative to join our team in East Harling. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the collation, picking, packing, and labelling of customer orders based on packing sheets.

Responsibilities:
  • Packing items for stock as requested
  • Picking and packing of aluminium to send for powder coating
  • Reporting of any quality issues to a senior team member
  • Cleaning your workstation at the end of each shift
  • Collaborating with the team to conduct quarterly stock checks accurately and on time
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Performing general warehouse duties
  • Assisting in other departments as needed
  • Complying with company risk assessments and following all Health and Safety regulations
Personal Competencies:
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure maximum productivity
  • Previous packing experience is preferred
  • Comfortable working to targets and deadlines
  • Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks
  • Basic IT knowledge, as you'll be required to print off labels and complete internal training
