Chester, Cheshire, United Kingdom TOGETHER FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED Full time

We are seeking a skilled Financial Crime Testing and Control Specialist to lead our critical testing and configuration efforts on the RiskNarrative platform.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our financial crime controls, strategies, and technologies are optimally tested and configured for the go-live phase of our transformation project.

You will oversee the integration of new in-platform apps and workflows to mitigate financial crime risks and ensure good outcomes. Your expertise will be invaluable in collaborating with our Deputy MLRO to conduct and oversee API testing, ensuring seamless connections between new technologies and RiskNarrative throughout the customer journey.

In this role, you will also lead the assurance testing and optimization of rulesets for new app integrations, including solutions such as remote document verification and device/email fraud checks. Your attention to detail will be crucial in identifying and resolving platform defects and configuration issues that arise during the testing process.

To be successful, you will need knowledge of financial crime and financial services regulations, particularly Money Laundering Regulation and FCA standards. You should have practical experience applying these regulations into operational activities and an understanding of fraud prevention techniques, investigation, and management.

Your experience in system/control projects or testing within a financial crime context is essential, as is your ability to conduct testing for workflow-driven platforms.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, reflecting the complexity and importance of this role. You will also benefit from a range of employee benefits, including 26 days' holiday, buy and sell holidays, discretionary annual bonus, matched pension contribution, life assurance, critical illness cover, health cash plan, private medical insurance, free access to company holiday homes, travel season ticket loans, ride to work scheme, free local gym access, and local bar/restaurant discounts.

We value diversity and inclusion and are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. If you require any reasonable adjustments to make your experience easier, please let us know and we will do all we can to support you.
