Secondary Teaching Assistant | Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a highly regarded all-through school in Wandsworth. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced teaching assistant to inspire the next generation and make a positive impact on student outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will assist students in core subjects, focusing on your specialist area (English, Maths, Humanities, or Science). You will support students with varying abilities, including those with SEND, and conduct small-group interventions and provide 1-1 support as needed. You will also collaborate with teachers to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a First-Class Degree, preferably from a Top 20 University. Previous experience in child-centred roles and tutoring is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a passion for education are essential for this role.
