This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in our finance department, where you will be responsible for ensuring the robustness of accounting within GXO and providing visibility of results to our customers through weekly and period reporting.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a fast-paced finance management role, with expertise in finding cost efficiencies and potential savings. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to build strong business relationships with both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including weekly and monthly reviews
  • Leading financial controls regarding Gainshare and Gainshare elements of contracts
  • Working closely with the operational team to ensure maximum value is delivered in line with contract requirements
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior finance management role, ideally with CIMA or ACCA qualification
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify areas for improvement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
