About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at The Cornerstone Academy.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver cover supervision in a variety of lessons on a daily basis, following the guidance of the Vice Principal.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for all students and maintain an orderly classroom environment.
  • Ensure students are aware of learning objectives at the start of the lesson and have high expectations of learning and behavior at all times.
  • Seek to make learning a positive experience for all students.
About You

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is highly organized and a skilled influencer.

You will be flexible and have excellent proven team working skills, with a commitment to your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Experience of a school's Management Information System would be a distinct advantage, as would excellent IT skills using Microsoft Office.

We are seeking someone who is confident to fully engage in being part of the school team that makes a difference to our student outcomes and is willing to contribute to school life outside the classroom.

Excellent numeracy and literacy skills are essential, as outlined in the person specification.
