About the Role

The Training and Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting and supporting the design, delivery, and evaluation of the Support Worker Induction programme and any training identified through the completion of the programme and any government initiatives.

They will also assist with the Trust's T Level Student Programme and support students whilst they are on placements within Southern Health.

This is a fixed term/secondment post for 6 months.

Main Responsibilities

Participating in the provision of high-quality, evidence-based training across Southern Health and where appropriate external organisations, with a particular focus on staff within Bands 2-4.

Assisting in the design, delivery and evaluation of programmes associated with the Support Worker Induction and bands 2-4 training.

Participating in training within their current knowledge base and expanding their training portfolio over time.

Assisting in designing, delivering, and evaluating training to a range of health & social care staff at various locations across the Trust.

Organising regular education focussed workshops/conferences for Support Workers.

Acting as a positive role model in promoting clinical excellence.

Supporting staff through their Care Certificate qualification.

Assisting in the delivery of training and support packages for T Level students.

Supporting T Level students whilst on placement within Southern Health.
