We are seeking a skilled Reliability Specialist to join our team at Tayto Group Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.
Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse equipment performance and identify potential failure points. You will perform detailed root cause analyses to understand equipment malfunctions and develop effective solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement
- Developing and implementing predictive maintenance strategies to optimise equipment efficiency and reduce downtime
- Utilising advanced condition monitoring techniques to track machinery health and take proactive measures
- Developing and managing maintenance schedules to ensure consistent equipment reliability
- Leading efforts to integrate reliability-centered maintenance practices across the production process
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Specialist with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. You will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, preferably within the food manufacturing sector.
Key requirements include:
- HND or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field)
- Proven experience as a Reliability Specialist, preferably within the food manufacturing sector
- Familiarity with predictive and preventive maintenance methodologies
- Proficiency in reliability tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and condition monitoring techniques
- Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Commitment to safety and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a secure work environment
