Job Summary:

BCL Legal is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join its team in the West Midlands. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, providing legal support on contentious matters, and delivering legal training to the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the business to draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including distribution agreements, supply agreements, and purchasing agreements.
  • Provide legal support on any contentious matters, ensuring the business is well-equipped to navigate complex legal issues.
  • Deliver legal training to the wider business, empowering employees to make informed decisions and take ownership of their roles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide expert legal advice and guidance, driving business growth and development.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Lawyer or in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial law, including contract law, tort law, and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
