Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled prescribing pharmacist to support our management of clinical documents and prescriptions at Broad Lane Surgery in Hampton.
The successful candidate will work alongside our existing Clinical Pharmacist, supported by GPs and as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Main Duties
The pharmacist will be in a patient-facing role one session a week, with the remaining four managing clinical administration related to prescription requests and Docman.
About Us
Broad Lane Surgery is a GMS teaching practice with a list size of 6800 on the outskirts of Southwest London.
We have a team of healthcare professionals, including GPs, a clinical pharmacist, practice nurse, HCA, and MH worker, as well as an admin team.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clinical administration related to prescription requests and Docman, with a patient-facing role one session a week.
Person Specification
- Prescribing Pharmacist: Candidates must be fully qualified prescribing pharmacists with strong clinical acumen.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communication: Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex and sensitive information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in IT, with the ability to access, analyse, and interpret complex technical information.
- Resilience: Capable of working efficiently under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Teamwork and Independence: Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Accountability: Display a strong sense of accountability, ensuring the delivery of high-quality professional expertise and direct service provision.
