Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Optima Installations Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the management of projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing the management of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
  • Monitor progress on site, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact project timelines or costs.
  • Provide support with financial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate processing of sub-contract orders and purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.

Training and Qualifications:

  • You will be enrolled on the Surveying Technician Level 3 Intermediate Apprenticeship, attending college on day release as directed by the college.
  • Upon successful completion, you will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Surveying and become an Associate member of the RICS (AssocRICS).
  • Opportunities for further career progression will be available, including the BSc Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship.

  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications, including Maths and English (Grade C/5 or above).
