About the Role:
The Financial Business Partner will report to the Head of Commercial Finance in Landscapes as part of the Landscapes Finance team. The role is responsible for the profit and loss of a portfolio of clients/contracts, including accurately and timely reporting performance to Gross Profit level.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the Profit and Loss for a portfolio of contracts/clients through regular, accurate and comprehensive reviews of GP performance on a monthly basis.
- Liaise and work with the Billing team to ensure scheduled tasks are billed as required.
- Ensure WIP and PO's are managed and reported accurately.
- Establish strong working relationships with Operational Key Account Managers to share business knowledge and identify potential financial opportunities.
- Attend contract performance review calls relevant to the client portfolio.
- Provide accurate and timely management information.
- Month end reporting and commentary.
Requirements:
- Part qualified or studying (AAT, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Keen interest in understanding business and its contracts and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- IT Literate and a strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good written, verbal and presentational skills, adept at problem solving.
- Ability to work with high volumes of data, to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads.
- The ability to work within a team and individually.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Previous experience within a commercially-based or management accounting role would be advantageous.
