Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oil Derivatives Trader to join our team at Marks Sattin in Central London. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of up to £130,000 - £170,000 + bonus dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Oil Derivatives Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades in oil derivatives, including futures, options, and swaps. You will develop and implement trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities within the oil derivatives space. Additionally, you will monitor and analyze market trends, news, and economic data to inform trading decisions. Your role will also involve maintaining and developing relationships with brokers, exchanges, and other market participants to ensure access to liquidity and market intelligence. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the risk management team to manage and mitigate trading risks effectively. You will utilize quantitative models and technical analysis to enhance trading performance and profitability. Finally, you will prepare regular reports and analysis on trading performance, market conditions, and strategy outcomes.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in trading oil derivatives, preferably within a market maker environment, is required. You must have a strong understanding of oil markets, derivative products, and trading strategies. A proven track record of profitable trading and risk management is essential. Proficiency in trading platforms and software commonly used in the industry is also necessary. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to quickly interpret market data and trends, are required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, are essential. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment are also necessary.
