As a Manufacturing Engineer at Moog Aircraft Group Wolverhampton, you will play a vital role in supporting our New Product Introduction team. This challenging and rewarding opportunity requires a collaborative and innovative approach to develop and implement effective manufacturing systems.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and experience with CNC programming using 3D CAD/CAM software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturing solutions that meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Develop and implement efficient manufacturing systems based on best practices, ensuring seamless integration across global operations.
  2. Design and create accurate CNC programs and work instructions for complex machined parts, utilizing 3D models and NX software.
  3. Collaborate with the APQP process to deliver valuable input in PFD, PFMEA, and DFMA processes, driving process improvements.
  4. Liaise with the global Manufacturing Engineering community to ensure processes are transferable and scalable, promoting innovation and consistency.
  5. Establish standard times for each operation, minimizing waste and optimizing production efficiency.
  6. Assist in creating, reviewing, and approving gauging, fixtures, and special tooling required for efficient manufacturing of machined and assembled products.
